About me and my therapy practice
I am a Person Centered Counsellor and have been qualified since 2007. I have trained in CBT as part of Alcohol Focus Scotland Training and since then have incorporated a range of techniques to help when working with clients. I have also trained in pluralistic approaches to counselling and incorporate this approach into my work.
As a Person Centered Counsellor I am very aware that all clients are unique and need different techniques to help them reach their own awareness of self.

About me and my therapy practice
I have been working in the Counselling field since 2007 when I achieved my Diploma in Counselling. I am in private practice and seeing clients with a wide range of issues. Over the years my work has become more integrative having had experience of CBT within the Alcohol Focus Scotland training I did in 2011 and with the Pluralistic work I did when working with young people for six years. Person Centered working is still at the core of my way of working but I believe this is what makes it easy for me to work with my clients in the best way for them to explore and make sense of their world.
Practice description
I have recently achieved the COSCA Accredited Counselling Supervision Certificate and am available for supervisees.
My aim is to work with counsellors and therapists to explorer and affirm their work and to help them build their skills and confidence when working with their clients. As I have already stated I believe that Person Centeredness being at the core of my working helps me to be flexible and creative in the way that I work with my supervisees.
My first session
In a first session we would discuss how we can work together and what to expect from me as a supervisor and to agree a working contract.
