About me and my therapy practice
Being truly listened to can help us make sense of where we’ve been, who we are, and what we need to move forward—especially when working through life’s struggles.
I'm William, a Central London-based Psychotherapist, registered with the 91×ÔÅÄ With two decades of experience supporting people through life’s many seasons and challenges, I offer a confidential and secure space where we can explore your difficulties together, helping you move toward a place of greater clarity and change.
I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting, but it may also be one of the most important and life-changing steps you take.
I have undergone extensive clinical training and hold degrees from UEA Norwich, the University of Oxford, and Birkbeck, University of London in Art, Theology, and Psychotherapy, respectively. My diverse background and experience provides a strong foundation for supporting you.
Practice description
Perhaps you are feeling anxious or depressed, but can’t quite understand why. Maybe you struggle to connect with others and find relationships difficult. Or perhaps something painful—maybe even devastating—has happened: the loss of a loved one, a breakup, or a life-altering event that felt beyond your control. Therapy provides a safe and reflective space where we can explore your feelings and ask the essential question—why?
My approach is based on the belief that to truly understand what is happening to us in the present, it helps to understand the past. The people, experiences, and emotions that have shaped us don’t simply fade—they echo through our lives in ways we might not yet see. When we begin to make sense of these patterns, we open the possibility of real change—a more hopeful future and a life that feels more like your own.
My first session
Our initial session will be a consultation, and is an opportunity for you to tell me some more about yourself and what you are seeking from therapy.
We would meet in a secure and confidential setting, either in person at my consulting room in London W1, or online.
You are free to think about if you would like to continue to see me and, if so, we would agree on a regular time and think about how any sessions to have together.
