About me and my therapy practice
I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. There’s no pressure—just a genuine, supportive presence to help you navigate life’s challenges. You lead the way, and I’m here to listen and support you.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy, equipping me with the knowledge and skills to support clients with a compassionate, person-centred approach.
I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, each with their own unique stories and challenges. I’ve worked with clients navigating grief and loss, relationship and family issues, anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. I’ve also supported those facing behavioural concerns such as phobias, self-harm, and the deep emotional pain associated with past or present trauma, including PTSD.
My approach is rooted in compassion and collaboration. I believe in creating a space where you feel safe to explore your feelings and experiences at your own pace. Together, we’ll work to help you gain clarity, process your emotions, and move forward with greater confidence and self-understanding.
I know finding the right counsellor can be a daunting task especially if it is your first time. I would recommend reaching out to as many counsellors as possible to arrange free calls with them to find what you like and what you don't. I hope I am one of those you chose to reach out to and if so I look forward to meeting you. Good luck with your journey.
Practice description
Have you ever found yourself doing something but not knowing why? It’s a common experience—like wanting to improve relationships but losing your temper despite your best efforts, or wanting to stand up for yourself but freezing when the moment comes.
That’s where therapy comes in. I’m here to help you explore these patterns in a non-judgmental and supportive way. Together, we’ll hold up a mirror to your experiences, uncover the reasons behind them, and create space for meaningful self-discovery.
In therapy, your autonomy is always the priority. I provide empathetic listening, genuine care, and a collaborative approach to help you gain deeper insights into your emotions, beliefs, and experiences. There’s no rush, no dismissal—just a space for you to better understand yourself and take steps toward greater self-awareness and confidence.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is a vital part of the healing process. By fostering trust, warmth, and acceptance, I offer a safe space where you can explore even the most difficult emotions without fear of judgment. Every person’s journey is unique, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you find your path to growth and well-being.
My first session
Your first counselling session is a space just for you—where you can begin to explore what truly matters to you at your own pace. There’s no pressure to have all the answers or to justify why you're here. Whether you have something specific on your mind or you're simply curious about what counselling can offer, this is a place where you can be yourself, free from judgment.
I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment where you feel safe to express your thoughts and emotions authentically. There’s no set structure; instead, the session is entirely led by you. You decide what feels right to talk about, and I am here to listen, support, and help you navigate your journey.
This first step is about giving yourself the time and space to explore your feelings, needs, and goals—whatever they may be. There’s no right or wrong way to begin, just the opportunity to be heard and understood in a way that feels natural for you.
