About me and my therapy practice
I will provide you with a safe space where you can explore and reflect up on the issues that have brought you into therapy. I have a theoretical and clinical background in Psychodynamic Counselling which means that some aspects of our work together will focus on understanding and identifying how your past experiences and relationships may have shaped you. This process supports a deeper understanding of the difficulties you may currently be experiencing thus promoting greater insight into repeated patterns of behaviour that may be unhelpful and providing support for new ways of being.
Our first meeting will give us an opportunity to see whether we can work together and give you a sense of whether you feel comfortable with me in order for us to work together. Additionally, this session will give you an opportunity to explore what you would like to gain from Counselling/Psychotherapy and give us a chance to establish whether you would like to commit to a weekly open-ended or weekly short-term basis. This is something that can naturally change over the course of the sessions and therefore be readjusted as the sessions progress.
My first session
I offer face to face and virtual sessions. The first session will usually be conducted as a virtual session, unless this is agreed otherwise. Face to face sessions are available in different locations across London mainly within the London Bridge, Liverpool Street and Shoreditch area as well as in South East London.
The best way to get in touch with me is to drop me an email and if possible, to provide me with some brief information about yourself and why you are looking to have therapy sessions.
