About me and my therapy practice

Hello! I’m Amber. I am an integrative counsellor, who is a registered member of the BACP (MBACP). I offer a safe and confidential space to explore life’s challenges and difficulties. I am committed to providing non-judgemental, empathic therapy for you to share your thoughts, feelings and any challenges you are experiencing.

Choosing who to share your life story with and to support you on your journey can be difficult, and overwhelming. Therefore, I offer a free 15-minute phone or video consultation so we can chat to see if we fit together.

I practice from an integrative approach with roots in person centred approach and transactional analysis. I also incorporate cognitive behavioural therapy, and solution-focused therapy, and gestalt at times. Person centred therapy means I believe that you are the expert in your life but sometimes we encounter challenges that feel too difficult to navigate, I will work with you to help you work through those difficulties at a pace that is comfortable for you. My integrative approach means I can adapt to meet your needs and tailor blend therapy to your unique situation, bringing in different methods and techniques. After all, no two people are the same!

It is my ambition to empower and encourage positive change throughout the therapeutic process while providing my clients with autonomy and control of their own therapy. I offer a safe environment for you to bring whatever you wish to each session, together I am to build a therapeutic relationship built on trust, non-judgement and congruence that enables you to explore, challenge and understand your thoughts and feelings.
