I understand life can be busy and hectic, which is why I offer flexible days and hours to accommodate your schedule. I am here for you Monday to Sunday with slots available from 9am to 8pm whether its online or in person.
About me and my therapy practice
Starting therapy can feel scary and daunting especially if it is your first time seeking support. However, my aim is to make you feel safe and comfortable so that we can begin to explore what is troubling you.
Life has its challenges and can be confusing. Whether you are struggling with a particular issue, feel stuck in unhelpful patterns or would like to understand yourself better, therapy offers a safe and non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts and feelings.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and down to earth. So I want counselling to feel comfortable and natural where you can truly be yourself and relax. I strive to create a safe environment to foster a therapeutic relationship rather than a clinical interaction.
I have experience with working with a wide range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship problems, self-harm, addiction, sexual abuse, grief, trauma, identity confusion and lack of direction and purpose.
I have found therapy transformative in my own life and hope that it can be helpful for you too.
Practice description
My practice is integrative and I draw from a range of different therapeutic modalities to best suit your needs.
Above all, I am committed to supporting you so that you feel empowered to access your own strengths and make the best choices for you. I offer a safe, supportive, non-judgemental and caring space to help you explore the issues and difficulties you may be experiencing at present and always seek to tailor therapy to best suit you as an individual.
I understand the powerful and negative impact our experiences have on us and how very deep they can go. We just need the right space and guidance to help unpack them as I truly believe that we have the answers within ourselves. I promise to commit and support you on the journey.
I can provide short and longer-term therapy which we can discuss and agree at the initial assessment session and reviewed regularly throughout our work together.
My pronouns are she/her. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and welcome diversity of all kinds.
My first session
You can email, leave a voice message or text in the first instance. We will then arrange a FREE 15 minute chat on the phone in order for me to learn a bit more about what you are looking for and for us both to see if we might be a good fit. This is a no obligation consultation.
We can then organise an initial face to face (or online) 50-minute session where we will discuss your situation. It is about you and a chance for you to explore how you feel about therapy and how we connect.
