About me and my therapy practice
Hey, I'm James and I am a male counsellor offering person-centred counselling based in Glasgow.
I am a compassionate and non-judgemental listener who promotes holding your experience and working alongside you on anything that is on your mind. There is no problem too great, and I aim to create a comfortable and safe space where you can give yourself permission to feel what you need to feel in the moment.
There is a real difference between listening and feeling like you’ve been heard. By focusing on the latter, we can discover what you are truly needing right now and craft your next steps together.

I offer a free 30-minute consultation where we can discuss your goals, as well as answer any questions you may have. This is also a great chance for you to meet me and see if I am what you’re looking for in your counselling journey.
Practice description
The practice is walkable from Charing Cross train station or St George's Cross subway station, with regular buses stopping on the street outside. Limited on-street parking is available. The room is up two flights of stairs with no lift access.
I also offer online counselling via zoom as well as over telephone; please feel free to enquire when booking your first session which format would be preferable.
