About me and my therapy practice

Your experiences shape you, but they don’t have to define your future. When life feels overwhelming and you’re struggling to cope, therapy is a place to be truly heard, understood, and supported. Navigating your way through a difficult time alone can feel daunting but I can help you explore and overcome your challenges with kindness and at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

My path began in the corporate world so I have lived experience of the stresses that work life can bring. After deciding on a change of career, I completed intensive postgraduate training and now run a private practice helping people understand and integrate the life issues they are dealing with.

As a qualified therapist I regularly attend professional development training and have had many years of personal counselling, which means that I fully understand how it feels to be a client in therapy.

I help clients with a broad range of issues offering 50-minute sessions on a weekly basis. I can offer short-term or longer, open-ended therapy.

I work from London Bridge and also Tonbridge & surrounding areas.

Practice description

As a unique individual you have a life experience and personal history which colours who you are today. How you carry and relate to both your past and your present impacts your potential for a fulfilling and contented life. Our time together may include looking at your early experiences as well as addressing the challenges you face today. In our initial session we can discuss what you feel is most important to focus on and begin from there.

As your therapist, I offer unconditional presence and an empathic, confidential place where you can be heard without judgement. Ultimately, I see you as much more than the sum of your problems and through our work together, hold the potential for life's difficulties to become the catalyst for change.

My primary focus is to see you for who you really are and through our relationship, help you work towards a happier life experience.

My first session

Our first session is an opportunity for us to see if we would like to work together. We will explore your reasons for seeking therapy and how you hope our work may be able to help you. It is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and get a feel for me as a therapist.

If we both decide to continue, we would normally have 6 sessions and then assess how our work is unfolding.

For an informal, no obligation chat please message me to arrange a free 20-minute call.
