About me and my therapy practice

Feeling anxious, stuck or overwhelmed can be lonely and confusing. Often, we fear being a burden or being judged - an inside voice saying 'my problems aren't big enough' or 'others have it worse'. As the result, difficult emotions we bottle up surface as anxiety, depression, inability to sleep or crying for no reason.

I strongly believe that, when we are properly supported through therapy, our growing understanding and change of perspective can help us through the most difficult times. Healthier coping skills lead to improved relationships and greater control over our feelings and actions, creating a more fulfilled and meaningful life.

Hopelessness, loss of motivation, unexplained sadness or numbness, fears, social anxiety, panic, irritation, relationship issues and physical illness can all arise as the result of dealing with too much, for too long, on your own.

Practice description

I provide a warm, non-judgemental space that fosters connection, compassion and focus on your needs. I am informed by my professional learning as integrative counsellor, as well as my values and lived experience of bereavement, loss, migration, and single parenting. I especially enjoy working with young people and clients seeking support through life's transitions, and I have a significant experience working with neurodivergence, early bereavement and identity issues.

In addition to an open, trauma-informed approach, I use psychoeducation, mindfulness, creative exercises and polyvagal theory to support clients' agency and independence in a safely guided balance between nurture and challenge.

My first session

Taking the first step towards therapy when struggling with anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem can be daunting, but I’m here to make it easier.

Email me today to arrange a free introductory call, where you can share your concerns and ask any questions. We can decide together if we are a good match for your particular needs.

About me and my therapy practice

Feeling anxious, stuck or overwhelmed can be lonely and confusing. Often, we fear being a burden or being judged - an inside voice saying 'my problems aren't big enough' or 'others have it worse'. As the result, difficult emotions we bottle up can surface as anxiety, depression, mood swings, sleep issues or a sense of hopelessness.

I strongly believe that being properly supported through therapy can help us through the most difficult times. I offer a safe supportive space where you can find your voice, speak freely without worrying of upsetting others, and finally make sense of your experiences - bringing relief, a deeper understanding of your needs, and a fresh perspective by connecting past and present.

Hopelessness, loss of motivation, unexplained sadness or numbness, fears, social anxiety, panic, irritation, relationship issues and physical illness can all arise as the result of dealing with too much, for too long, on your own. Together, we'll identify tools to boost your confidence, improve relationships, and help you regain sense of purpose and control in your life.

In addition to an open, trauma-informed approach, I blend psychoeducation, mindfulness, and creative exercises to empower you in your healing. This also helps you understand your body's responses to stress, fostering resilience and independence. Together, we'll strike a balance between nurture and challenge, creating a safe, supportive space for your growth.
