About me and my therapy practice

"Life, at its best, is a flowing, changing process in which nothing is fixed. It is guided by a changing understanding of and interpretation of my experience. It is always in the process of becoming"  (Carl Rogers)

The quote above is deeply personal to me in my acceptance of the various ebbs and flows of life.  Sometimes, it goes swimmingly, and sometimes, life can feel entirely overwhelming.

During tricky times, therapy offers a welcoming space full of kindness, clarity and calm.  The mere process of feeling fully seen and heard can help to alleviate anxious, depressed, panicked,  stressed or even suicidal parts of us.

I specialise in Internal Family Systems (IFS), offering you a way to better understand yourself with compassion, creativity, and courage. Sessions help you heal from painful life events, reduce stress and anxiety, and boost mood and energy levels. Together, we can explore your complex inner system and journey toward more health and happiness.

My approach respects and validates our bodies and minds. I share calming techniques, such as breath work, meditation, or body scans, that help you stay in the present moment as you explore your past.

I offer support to clients by helping them to understand their anxiety and stress responses. When we recognise what parts of us are anxious, fearful or scared, we can start to acknowledge, validate and heal those parts.  I also have experience in working with loss, either through bereavement, grief, separation or change.  My two years volunteering at a local Hospice have enhanced my view that we are all seeking meaning and a life well lived.

Whatever your initial reason for seeking help, stress, anxiety, depression, grief or trauma, I am here to listen, guide and support you on your road to health and happiness.

If you're curious about how we could best work together, contact me to book a free discovery call. I work in person and also online.

Let's get started!

Practice description

Expertise & experience

I am a qualified Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Coach, and Internal Family System Therapist, as well as an experienced Meditation, Breath work, and Yoga Teacher.

Every journey of self-discovery begins with a simple step. However daunting that first step may seem, I will support and guide you from start to finish, allowing you an enhanced sense of wholeness.

I've worked privately with clients since 2010 as a yoga, meditation and breath work teacher and therapist.

In 2023, I qualified as an integrated psychotherapist, adding Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy in 2024. I work holistically with clients for their mental as well as physical health and well-being.

I see you as a whole human, listening to your body language and words to increase your awareness of the holistic value of yourself as an integrated unit. Your body holds wounds from your past that sometimes are hard to articulate in words.
