About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I'm Ellie - an Integrative Psychotherapist based in London, offering therapy online and in person.

There are many reasons to seek therapy. You might be facing a difficult time, navigating change, or wanting to understand patterns that no longer serve you. Perhaps past experiences continue to shape your present, or relationships feel challenging in ways you can’t quite put into words. Whatever brings you here, all of you is welcome.

While I support a number of challenges, but I have a special interest in OCD, disordered eating, and attachment - areas where emotions, thoughts and behaviours can feel particularly stuck.

My approach is relational and integrative, meaning I tailor our work to your needs while placing the therapeutic relationship at the heart of the process.

I draw on humanistic, psychodynamic and evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) to help make sense of your experiences and create meaningful change. But jargon aside, I offer myself as a non-judgemental, compassionate and curious witness to your experience.

At its core, therapy with me is a space where you feel heard, understood and met with warmth and curiosity. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach - our work is about finding what feels true and helpful for you.

If this resonates, I’d love to hear from you.

Practice description

Psychotherapy is a space for insight, growth, and meaningful change. Whether you’re navigating a specific challenge or seeking deeper self-understanding, therapy can help you make sense of your experiences, patterns, and relationships in a way that fosters lasting personal development.

For some, therapy provides a structured space to process immediate concerns. For others, it serves as an ongoing reflective practice - an anchor in the week. My role is to create a collaborative, supportive, and thought-provoking space where you feel safe to explore what matters most to you.

In our sessions, you set the pace. I will listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and highlight recurring themes or patterns. When helpful, I may offer interpretations, reframe perspectives, or gently challenge assumptions to support your growth. Our work together may involve exploring past experiences, making connections to the present, or focusing on the here and now - always guided by what feels most meaningful and relevant to you.

Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. My approach is tailored to your unique needs, drawing on explorative and evidence-based techniques to help you develop self-awareness, resilience, and a greater sense of understanding and agency in your life.

If you’re ready to begin, I welcome the opportunity to work with you.

My first session

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know one another.

Unlike other sessions, this session will likely include more direct questions from me, as I aim to get a sense of what you're experiencing and your goals for therapy. Ultimately, this is a space for us to decide if we're a good fit and would like to go ahead together.

This introductory session is charged at £50 for the therapeutic hour (50 minutes).
