About me and my therapy practice
馃泲锔 How I Work
I provide psychodynamic counselling, a therapy that helps you understand how your past experiences shape your present thoughts, emotions, and relationships. Together, we will explore patterns in your relationships, self-perception, and emotional world, allowing you to gain insight, process difficult feelings, and develop a deeper sense of self-awareness.
Exploring the Past & Present 鈥 Understanding how early experiences influence your current struggles.
Recognising Patterns 鈥 Identifying unconscious emotional and relational patterns that may be holding you back.
Deep, Lasting Change 鈥 Developing self-awareness, emotional resilience, and the ability to create meaningful change in your life.
I work at a pace that feels right for you, offering open-ended, long-term therapy or short-term focused counselling, depending on your needs.
馃尶 Managing Change, Relationships & Emotional Wellbeing
Life transitions鈥攚hether chosen or unexpected鈥攃an be deeply unsettling. Grief, relationship struggles, divorce, career changes, or personal identity shifts can leave you feeling lost, overwhelmed, or unsure of yourself. Even when we actively choose change, we may not fully understand why we feel so unsettled.
Or perhaps you鈥檙e experiencing anxiety, depression, sadness, anger, or low self-worth, but you鈥檙e not sure where these feelings stem from. You might notice recurring relationship difficulties, emotional patterns that hold you back, or a sense that something isn鈥檛 quite right, even if you can鈥檛 put it into words.
Counselling offers a space to explore these thoughts and feelings in depth, without judgment. Whether your struggles are linked to past trauma, relationship difficulties, neurodiversity, or a general sense of unease, I can support you in making sense of your experiences and moving towards a more fulfilling way of being.
