About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome – I’m Sandra, a psychotherapeutic counsellor trained in Counselling for Depression (CFD).
I know that starting therapy can feel overwhelming. Taking the first step often takes courage, and if you’re feeling unsure or anxious, you’re not alone. I’m here to support you—gently and at your own pace.
My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I’ll meet you just as you are, without judgment. Together, we can explore what’s been weighing on you or keeping you stuck. I'm genuinely interested in your story—how past experiences may be shaping how you see yourself, relate to others, and move through life.
I work with people who feel anxious, caught in self-doubt, or stuck in difficult relationship patterns. My aim is to help you make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface so you can feel more confident, clear, and connected to yourself.
With years of experience supporting families, I have a deep understanding of emotional dynamics and the lasting impact of early relationships. I draw on this insight to help you break free from unhelpful patterns and build more fulfilling connections.
As a CFD-trained counsellor, I also offer a structured and compassionate space to support you through depression—working at your own pace with care and understanding.
I’ve worked in the NHS with people from many different backgrounds, supporting them through trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Having lived in several countries, I also understand the complexities of cultural identity and the feeling of being between worlds.
Above all, I believe that healing begins when you feel truly seen and understood. I'm here to walk alongside you, helping you reconnect with your inner strength and move toward a more grounded, meaningful life.
