About me and my therapy practice
In my counselling practice, I offer a warm, supportive space where individuals and couples can feel truly heard and accepted, just as they are. I see crisis not as failure but as a powerful turning point, a chance for growth, healing, and change.
Whether you are navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, identity questions, or simply feeling lost or stuck, I offer both short and long-term therapy tailored to your needs. My approach is rooted in personal development and the belief that each of us has the potential to live more fully and authentically.
Counselling can be a deeply transformative journey. It can help you find clarity, shift perspective, and reconnect with meaning in your life. Whether you are facing big transitions or seeking deeper fulfilment, I'm here to walk alongside you as you find your way forward.
Practice description
I practice counselling based on the psychosynthesis model, emphasizing personal growth and addressing the influence of one's psychological past on their present. This holistic approach considers the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and feelings, as well as the need for spiritual expression, addressing diverse human needs from basic psychological ones to the pursuit of meaning and self-actualisation. I employ dialogue and psychosynthesis techniques such as guided imagery and inner dialogue when working with individuals and couples. My background in the charity sector and the NHS, particularly with complex health conditions, has honed my ability to identify and support individuals in achieving a good life aligned with their priorities. With qualifications, including a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling and training in Couples Facilitation, along with diverse experience in mental health support, I bring a comprehensive and compassionate approach to helping clients of various ages and backgrounds.
My first session
The initial counselling session involves establishing a contract, discussing boundaries and confidentiality, and conducting an assessment. It provides an opportunity to explore your life, address concerns, and determine if I can meet your needs. This process helps you decide if you are comfortable continuing to work with me.
A single session for an individual lasts 50 minutes, while a couples session lasts an hour.
The initial assessment session for individuals is £35, and for couples, it is £50.
For subsequent individual sessions £70
For subsequent couples’ sessions £100
