About me and my therapy practice
I’m an award-winning therapist and former elite athlete with over 6,000 hours of therapy experience. I specialize in supporting people facing personal and professional challenges. Get in touch for a free consultation.
You might worry that seeking help is a sign of weakness or failure. In my experience, addressing challenges only strengthens your well-being and brings you closer to a future of healing, connectedness and success.
What sets my practice apart is the unique combination of representing Great Britain as an athlete, experiencing PTSD after a career-ending accident and the resurfacing of childhood trauma, and completing six years of therapist training to become a highly skilled therapist.
My career so far has spanned work in the NHS, charity, private, and corporate sectors, as well as contributing to academic research, and appearing in the media as an expert on therapy.
Today, I offer a sense of calm and compassion to people like you. Through connection and professional insight we can overcome your difficulties together.

Practice description
My Approach
I approach clients like you in a non-pathologising way. I don’t see you as a problem to solve but as a human being who deep down is a good person worthy of love, confidence and self-esteem, who given the right help will flourish.
How do I work?
Each client I work with is a unique person whose needs change over time therefore, I creatively tailor my approach to each client. The core approaches I am trained in are the following:
• Counselling: A confidential space where you can discuss what you can't share anywhere else, with someone who is unconditionally in your corner and skilled at helping you.
• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): Practical, results-driven strategies that help you manage unhelpful patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaviour, with an immediate impact on your well-being.
• Mindfulness: A way of orienting to the world which cultivates attention and compassion, enabling you to break free from the constant cycle of limiting thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
Time and place
Sessions are 60 minutes long, with a limited number of spaces per day to ensure the highest quality of personalised care.
I offer face-to-face sessions in my private practice at the Royal Exchange in Manchester, as well as online and telephone sessions from Tuesday to Friday for clients all over the UK and Europe.
