Availability

I currently have availability for weekday and evening appointments, either in person or online. I offer a free initial consultation call, which gives us an opportunity to learn a little more about each other and explore what you're looking for from counselling. It also allows you to get a sense of how we might work together and whether we have mutual availability.

Following this, we can arrange an initial session - an introductory counselling session designed to give you a feel for what it’s like to work with me, and to help you decide if I’m the right counsellor for you. Each session lasts 50 minutes and is usually held weekly. The consistency of regular sessions can help build a sense of safety and trust, allowing us to work more effectively and support healing, growth, and change.

I also offer fortnightly sessions for those who aren’t able to commit to weekly appointments or for clients who have been attending weekly and feel ready to reduce the frequency.

I understand that attending at the same time each week isn’t always possible. Where I can, I offer flexible appointments to accommodate changing schedules.

I work with clients on both a short- and long-term basis, including time-limited work. There is no requirement to commit to a set number of sessions - this is something we will discuss and review together as we go.

About me and my therapy practice

People come to counselling for many different reasons. You may have something specific you'd like support with, or you might be feeling stuck - experiencing low mood, anxiety, overwhelm, or uncertainty. Perhaps you’ve experienced trauma and feel ready to explore this further. Or maybe you’re seeking a deeper understanding of yourself and the ways certain people, events, or situations impact you. Whatever brings you to counselling, I believe it can be a powerful and valuable space for healing and growth.

It’s important that you feel safe and comfortable with your counsellor - able to share openly without fear or judgment. I understand that reaching out can be difficult, and I’m committed to creating a welcoming, non-judgemental, and supportive environment where you can get the most from our time together.

As an integrative counsellor, I offer both open-ended work (without a fixed number of sessions) and short-term, time-limited therapy. The latter can be helpful if you’re looking to focus on a particular issue over a defined period. You may not be sure what suits you best at the start, and that’s completely okay - we can explore and review this together as the work unfolds.

I have several years of experience supporting clients with a wide range of issues including depression, low mood, anxiety, anger management, loneliness, trauma, relationship and family difficulties, low self-esteem, stress, panic attacks, work and career concerns, bereavement and loss, self-harm, and experiences of physical, emotional, or sexual abuse and assault.

I am an LGBTQIA+ affirmative counsellor and have experience working with individuals who are exploring their identity, gender, and relationships.

Practice description

I offer a warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth approach to counselling, providing a safe and supportive space where you can be heard without judgment. I understand how difficult it can be to take the first step and speak to someone about what’s going on in your life. My aim is to make that process as comfortable as possible.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, tailoring our work to suit your individual needs and goals. This flexibility allows us to explore your experiences in a way that feels most helpful for you - whether you're navigating a specific issue or simply feeling stuck or overwhelmed.

You may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, relationship issues, trauma, grief, or a sense of not feeling like yourself. Or you may be looking for support with something less easy to define. Whatever brings you, I offer a space where we can explore your thoughts and feelings at your pace.

I work with adults and young people and offer both short-term and open-ended therapy. Sessions are 50 minutes long and can take place either in person or online, depending on your preference and availability. I also offer a free initial consultation call, which gives us a chance to discuss what you're looking for and whether we feel like a good fit.

I believe that the therapeutic relationship is central to the counselling process, and I’m committed to building a trusting, collaborative space that supports growth, self-awareness, and positive change.

My first session

It’s completely natural to feel nervous or unsure before a first counselling session - there’s no right or wrong thing to say. We can take things at your pace, and you’re welcome to talk about whatever feels most comfortable for you when we first meet.

If you're considering an appointment or have any questions, please feel free to get in touch by phone or email. I offer a free initial phone call, which gives us a chance to briefly explore what you’re looking for from counselling, check our mutual availability, and see whether working together might feel like a good fit.

Following this, we can arrange an initial session. This is an opportunity for you to experience what it’s like to be in a counselling session with me and to decide if you feel comfortable continuing. There’s no pressure - we’ll simply use the time to get to know each other and explore what feels most helpful for you.

Availability

I currently have availability for weekday and evening appointments, either in person or online. I offer a free initial consultation call, which gives us an opportunity to learn a little more about each other and explore what you're looking for from supervision. It also allows you to get a sense of how we might work together and whether we have mutual availability.

Following this, we can arrange an initial session—an introductory supervision session designed to give you a feel for what it’s like to work with me, and to help you decide if I’m the right supervisor for you.

About me and my therapy practice

I work using the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision and bring over eight years of clinical experience as an integrative counsellor. I currently work in a busy and thriving private practice, where I value the freedom and diversity of working with a wide range of clients. I offer both open-ended and time-limited therapy and bring this flexibility and understanding into my supervision work.

I provide group supervision for counsellors at No5 Young People’s Counselling Service in Reading, as well as individual supervision for trainee counsellors, newly qualified therapists, and more experienced practitioners.

My core therapeutic approach is relational, and I bring this into the supervisory space. I offer a supportive and reflective environment where you can explore your clinical work openly, whether you're looking to deepen your understanding of client dynamics, navigate challenges, or grow your professional confidence.

As with counselling, I believe the relationship between supervisor and supervisee is key. I offer a free initial phone call, giving us the opportunity to learn a little more about each other and what you're looking for from supervision. This helps you get a sense of how we might work together and whether we’re a good fit. If it feels right, we can then arrange an initial session—an opportunity for you to experience how supervision with me might feel in practice.

My practice is based in Finchampstead, Wokingham. I offer both in-person and online supervision sessions, depending on your preference.

If you’d like to find out more, please feel free to get in touch via email or phone.
