About me and my therapy practice

In my therapy practice, I create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. I work with adults and young people, using the Person-Centred approach, which places your unique perspective and inner wisdom at the heart of our work together.

I believe that every person has the capacity for growth and change when they feel truly heard and understood. My role is to offer deep empathy, unconditional positive regard, and a non-directive approach, helping you find your own answers. I work in a way that is neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed, and LGBTQIA+ inclusive, embracing individuality and difference.

Whether you’re facing anxiety, loss, personal identity questions, or past trauma, my aim is to support you in becoming more self-aware, empowered, and resilient. I also incorporate mindfulness techniques and creative approaches when they’re appropriate and helpful for your healing process.

I am committed to fostering a therapeutic relationship that is collaborative and compassionate, focused on your whole well-being and growth.

Practice description

I am a fully qualified Person-Centred Counsellor committed to supporting individuals through personal growth, emotional balance, and self-awareness. My approach is grounded in the belief that every person has the capacity for self-understanding and healing when given a supportive, non-judgmental space.

I work with adults and young people, offering therapy both face-to-face and online. My aim is to create a safe environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. I work with a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, and trauma.

As a Neurodivergent-Affirming therapist, I respect and understand the unique experiences of neurodivergent individuals, especially those with ADHD, autism, and other conditions. I help clients celebrate their strengths and embrace their unique ways of experiencing the world.

My work is also trauma-informed, focusing on how past experiences impact present emotional and mental health. Together, we can explore these connections with a focus on healing and empowerment. When appropriate, I integrate mindfulness and breathwork techniques to support grounding, stress management, and inner connection.

I take a non-directive approach, providing gentle guidance and support, while always ensuring that you feel heard, valued, and understood. The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my practice, and I strive to build trust so you can feel comfortable and safe in exploring difficult or vulnerable topics.

I adhere to the ethical guidelines of the BACP, ensuring confidentiality, informed consent, and professional integrity in all of our work together. I am also committed to continuous professional development (CPD) to provide the most effective and compassionate support.

My first session

In our first session, my goal is to establish a strong foundation for our therapeutic work together. We’ll begin by talking about what brought you to therapy, your current challenges, and what you hope to gain from our sessions. This helps me understand your needs and ensure that we are aligned in our approach.

We will also take time to explore contractual details such as confidentiality, boundaries, session length, and any terms that are important to our work. This is to ensure clarity and agreement from both sides, helping you feel safe and comfortable moving forward.

If you feel comfortable, I may ask about your background, including any previous therapy experiences or important life events that have shaped who you are today. Together, we will establish learning objectives or goals for our work — but these can evolve over time as we get to know each other better and as your needs shift.

As the session progresses, we’ll also talk about your strengths and weaknesses. I like to highlight areas where you’re already coping well and find ways to build on those strengths. We’ll also gently explore any areas where you feel less confident or where challenges may arise, but I always ensure this is done in a way that feels supportive and non-judgemental.

If you're new to therapy or feeling unsure, I will reassure you that there’s no right or wrong way to engage with the process. Therapy is a personal journey, and I will work at your pace, ensuring you always feel comfortable and heard. I may suggest mindfulness or grounding techniques if you feel overwhelmed, or simply take moments of silence to reflect together.

The aim of the first session is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and clear about the direction of our work together. We’ll check in at the end to see how you felt and whether the process felt comfortable.

About me and my therapy practice

Person-Centred | Neurodivergent-Affirming | Seven-Eyed Model

I offer online-only supervision for counsellors, therapists, and wellbeing practitioners seeking a reflective and collaborative space to explore their work. Whether you're in training, newly qualified, or an experienced practitioner, I provide a supportive environment where you can bring your whole self — your insights, uncertainties, and unique way of working.

Rooted in person-centred values, my approach is integrative and relational. I work with the Seven-Eyed Model of supervision, which offers a rich framework for exploring client dynamics, your internal process, the supervisory relationship, and the broader context of your practice. This model supports ethical reflection, creativity, and professional growth.

As a neurodivergent therapist, I’m passionate about creating affirming spaces for those working with or identifying as neurodivergent. Around 70% of my client work is with neurodivergent individuals, and I bring a deep respect for difference, authenticity, and regulation into the supervisory space.

I am also a qualified meditation teacher, and I often integrate mindfulness into supervision to support presence, regulation, and clarity in your work.

Alongside supporting trainee counsellors, I have a special interest in working with newly qualified therapists setting up in private practice. Whether you're building confidence, exploring your identity as a practitioner, or navigating the practical steps of launching your service, I offer encouragement and guidance along the way.

Areas of Special Interest:

  • Supporting Trainee Counsellors

Practice description

I offer online-only supervision with a Person-Centred foundation and use the Seven-Eyed Model to support deep, reflective exploration of client work. My style is warm, non-directive, and gently challenging, with a focus on relational depth, emotional safety, and ethical practice.

The Person-Centred approach sits at the heart of my work — I offer empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, creating a space where supervisees can be open, vulnerable, and truly themselves. I believe growth happens when we feel deeply seen and supported.

The Seven-Eyed Model helps us explore your practice from different angles — from client dynamics and therapeutic relationships to your internal responses, our supervisory relationship, and the wider systemic context. It’s a flexible, relational framework that adds depth and insight to our work together.

I am a neurodivergent therapist with experience supporting both neurodivergent supervisees and those working with ND clients. I welcome diverse ways of communicating, processing, and reflecting, and I strive to offer a neurodivergent-affirming, inclusive space.

As a meditation teacher, I also draw on mindfulness to support grounding, presence, and embodied reflection when helpful.

I particularly enjoy supporting trainee and newly qualified therapists, especially those setting up private practice, offering space to build confidence, identity, and clarity in the early stages of your journey.

My first session

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and explore what you need from supervision. We might talk about your strengths, areas you'd like to develop, and any challenges you're currently facing. We'll look at your CPD interests, how you're working ethically, and what kind of support you find most helpful. We'll also agree on the practicalities — contract terms, frequency, and boundaries — and begin to shape your learning objectives together. The aim is to build a solid foundation for an open, reflective, and supportive supervisory relationship.
