Exploring the impact of counselling training on counsellors relationship with their family of origin
For the research module of my BSc counselling course I am exploring the relationships of qualified counsellors with their family of origin following counselling training and investigating whether relationships change as a result and how this manifests.
I am looking for qualified counsellors who undertook a counselling course which included attending personal therapy and an element of self exploration as part of their training to take part in this study.
Participants need to have been qualified for 2-10 years and be able to remember their relationship with their family of origin prior to counselling training. The research questions will be sent out prior to the interview so you know what is being asked of you.
The interview will last 60 minutes with an additional 15 minutes to debrief to see if any emotional responses have been triggered from the interview questions.
If you are interested in participating and require more information please contact Maxine on 24010535@ActivateLearning.ac.uk
